Exceedingly Good Song Night is back in person! Please see our COVID protocols before attending.

Song Night is an open sing, curated by Ken Schatz and Jules Peiperl. If you’d like to sing, you don’t need to do anything special — just bring in a song or two you love and Ken (or that night’s host) will call on you when the moment is right. If the so-called “fickle finger of folkly fate” calls on you and you don’t want to sing, you can always say no! You can also request a song be sung and led by someone else or that we come back to you in a bit. You can typically expect to have one or two opportunities to lead a song each session, depending on how many people attend.

Song Night has always been a listener-focused, inclusive space. We want to share in each other’s music and company, and we hope you will join us in our commitment to building a community in which everyone feels safe and welcome. Please read our Song Night Creed before attending.
